The New Year

November 6, 2016

It’s been a whirlwind of a year, hasn’t it? There have been so many changes and a lot of them have been challenging, but worthwhile. Between the new baby and the expansion of my massage business, playing music has been on the back burner. But still, we’ve had some good gigs this year. The YWCA put on a wonderful event again featuring Dr. Joycelyn Elders as their speaker this year. The weather at the Farmer’s Market was nice and it’s always a pleasure to play there. La Gitana never disappoints with their relaxed and classy atmosphere, and delicious food. I’m really looking forward to the Providence Group’s annual auction. Next year there will be more music as always and hopefully some delightful collaboration with a local vocalist that I admire very much. Stay tuned!

This Thursday, November 5th, Tarik and I are providing music for the YWCA’s Women of Achievement Celebration Soiree. This organization is really wonderful at supporting women in our community and world-wide. Please join us for the main event and soiree at 6pm!

This weekend’s shows at Jeremy’s Farm to Table restaurant have been rescheduled for December 18th and 19th. I’m sorry for any inconveniences! See you in December!
